Discover the art of traditional craftsmanship and create a unique piece of jewellery by hand, guided by a maker with a story rooted in heritage and creativity.

Raised in Damascus—a city with a deep-rooted legacy as a cradle of craft, trade, and timeless artistry—I was fortunate to grow up around the workshops of artisans and craftsmen—family members and mentors I spent countless hours with, especially during summer breaks. I later trained as an architect, but life took an unexpected turn through displacement. In a refugee camp, I began making jewellery from waste materials—an act of necessity, and a form of quiet rebellion: creating art to share with fellow refugees in defiance of the brutal conditions around us.

It was there I met a silversmith who reconnected me with the traditional techniques I had grown up watching. That moment marked a return to my roots. I found my way back to the bench, to working with my hands, and eventually became a bespoke jewellery designer and maker based in London. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and through this workshop, I’m honoured to share the beauty, skill, and quiet joy of making with you.

Set within our East London studio, this immersive workshop introduces you to the ancient technique of lost wax carving. You’ll design and carve your own bespoke ring from wax, which will then be cast in silver to become a lasting, wearable piece. The session lasts between 3 to 4.5 hours, depending on group size, with prices starting at £120 per person.

A relaxed coffee break is included as part of your session. For longer workshops, a lunch break can also be arranged in collaboration with our in-house restaurant. To end the day, you’ll be invited to enjoy a complimentary drink—a quiet toast to your creativity and craftsmanship.

You don’t need to arrive with a design in mind. Through guided brainstorming, visual references, and hands-on exploration, you’ll develop your own concept and bring it to life in wax.

•All materials to create a silver ring (up to 5mm wide)

•Step-by-step guidance in wax carving techniques tailored to your design

•Optional upgrades such as gemstone setting, gold plating, or engraving (available to pre-purchase or add on the day)

•Option to upgrade to a thicker ring or solid gold—costs calculated during the session based on your wax model’s weight

•Your piece will be professionally cast and finished, and ready for collection or postage in approximately 2 weeks
